She is a seasoned professional renowned for her leadership prowess, sales excellence, and unwavering dedication to customer service. As a mentor and coach to sales representatives, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the skills and expertise of our sales team.

From her initial customer service role at RBC to her current position, Mary's trajectory shows her dedication, comprehensive expertise, and profound commitment to the travel insurance sector. As a leader in sales and customer service, Mary continues to shape the landscape of customer experience at soNomad, ensuring that each interaction leaves an enduring positive impression on our customers.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Mary enjoys embarking on road trips, indulging in music, and immersing herself in the vibrant atmosphere of concerts.

Maude Prevost
Digital Marketing Manager

Maude is a dynamic and innovative Digital Marketing Manager; she brings a unique blend of creativity and analytical prowess to soNomad. With a passion for crafting compelling campaigns that drive measurable results, she thrives on turning challenges into opportunities and leveraging the power of digital channels to propel our brand to new heights.

In her current position as the Director of Digital Marketing at soNomad, Maude brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to her initiatives. Prior to this, she served as a Digital Growth Business Strategist and Technical Marketing Specialist in a digital agency.

Beyond her professional life, she is an avid explorer, finding joy in hiking, cafés, and culinary experimentation.

Manon Brouillette
Chair of the board Hydro-Quebec I Former CEO @Verizon Consumer Group and @Videotron

Manon chairs the Board of Hydro-Québec, a major renewable energy producer in northeastern North America. With past roles as CEO of Verizon Consumer Group, overseeing $100 billion, and President and CEO of Videotron, with $4 billion in revenue, her experience is expansive.

Specializing in digital transformation and omnichannel customer experiences, Manon navigates rapid growth adeptly. She excels in B2C/B2B subscription models and technology-enabled strategies.

Beyond Hydro-Québec, Manon sits on boards at Lightspeed POS and IPSY, while serving as a Strategic Partner at Inovia Capital. Previously, she held board positions at National Bank of Canada, Altice USA, Sonder Holdings, and SFR.

Mathieu Laplante
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Mathieu Laplante is Chief Executive Officer and co-Founder of soNomad. He leads soNomad’s go-to-market strategy, driving growth objectives focused on industry and solution strategy, business development, global alliances, and most importantly the technology platform ecosystem. He has been instrumental in the growth and development of soNomad and is responsible for building the business and financial infrastructure. Mathieu has driven the vision, culture, and growth of the company since it was founded in 2019.

Before co-founding soNomad in 2019, Mathieu was the CEO and co-owner of Securiglobe, an insurance financial firm. He has been a leader, product visionary and innovator in the travel insurance industry for more than 20 years.

Mathieu loves to read about finance and the stock market, loves to walk on the beach and is a hard-core football and hockey fan.

Louis-Philippe Meunier
Chief Technology Officer

Louis-Philippe has been instrumental in leading the company's tech strategy. With more than 20 years of experience, he has a deep understanding of the insurance industry and is always looking for new ways to drive innovation and efficiency. In his spare time, he enjoys staying up-to-date on the latest tech trends and finding ways to apply them to his work. His interests include science and snowboarding.

Jean-Francois Bouchard
Investor | Co-Founder of Sid Lee | Founder of C2 Montréal

Jean-François co-founded Sid Lee in 1993, leading its growth until 2017. With almost 1000 professionals across Montréal, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Toronto, the agency continues to flourish.

In 2012, he launched C2 Montréal, a pioneering event in partnership with Cirque du Soleil and Sid Lee, attracting 7000 attendees from 60 countries yearly and earning global recognition.

Today, Jean-François advises and invests in entrepreneurial ventures, including chairing soNomad since 2022. Splitting his time between Montreal and New York, he remains a driving force in innovation.

Eve Murphy
Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer

In her role as co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of soNomad, Eve directs the company’s global expansion strategy and commercial operations, focusing on innovation initiatives, sales, marketing, and customer success.

With over 25 years of professional experience, Eve has demonstrated a wealth of expertise in streamlining operations and expanding businesses in the travel insurance sector. Prior to co-founding soNomad, she held the role of co-owner and EVP operations at Securiglobe, a leading player in the Canadian travel industry. Her leadership has consistently focused on leveraging technology for business services, delivering exceptional client experiences, and driving profitable revenue growth.

Eve's passion for transforming travel insurance led to the creation of soNomad, a venture that aims to combine affordable travel insurance premiums with top-quality products. Her commitment extends to reshaping the industry for the benefit of all travelers, and she is equally dedicated to nurturing a positive work culture within the company.

Eve loves spending time with her family, reading interesting books, and listening to inspiring podcasts.

Chantal Giroux
Director of Administration

Chantal spent 15 years in the group insurance industry, followed by 5 years in property management, and then another dozen years in travel insurance in administration and accounting. She joined soNomad for the challenge, because she believed in the business and because of its values. She loves reading and spending time with her family.
